Zum alten Siel in Greetsiel

Here we were allowed to spend a few nice hours with good food and fine drinks on 3 days before the lockdown (November 2nd). We wish the operators all the best - stay healthy!

Spent a great evening here yesterday. The service was very friendly and always had a good saying ready. Drinks and food came quickly to the table, and questions and requests from the children were answered in a friendly manner. In terms of price, it was commensurate with the good quality of the food. We'll be back on our next vacation.

Staff super friendly, the view is also very nice and the breakfast is also very extensive. There is a small minus at lunch. Steak and fish were very dead and dry .. The room is very nice too. However, there are a few quirks that should be addressed. Parking situation is also good. All very friendly and courteous!

The restaurant is located at the fishing port in Greetsiel. The location is very great on the water. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced for the current situation.

The food was very tasty. The service very friendly with a sense of humor 😄. The one star deduction is because ketchup and majo were charged extra € 0.50 each and salad and vegetable side dishes € 3.50 extra. I think that should be included in the prices.

The ambience is appealing. Very good kale stew. The staff is attentive and quick. Yesterday's vampire mussel meal was extremely tasty. Make a reservation as it is always well attended.

Food was okay, nothing 'special' and we weren't really impressed. The staff is a bit inattentive. In addition, the staff eats in front of the guests (also with their fingers) and drinks plenty of alcohol, which is a no-go in our eyes!

Great food at fair prices. Plaice fillet was well prepared. Maybe the staff should show a little more enjoyment of their work, then the stay would have been even more pleasant 😉

The food didn't knock us off our feet. And you didn't really feel welcome. All very annoyed.

Unfortunately, the kitchen is very bad. Obviously Tk products and spice powders. Schnitzel with pepper cream as an example - in my eyes pure tourist rip-off. The fish soup tastes like mustard dill sauce with fish parures. Very disappointed as the location is good.

We were there for lunch. Schnitzel with creamy pepper sauce and french fries. Also a matj plate with potatoes and a very tasty housewife sauce. The service was excellent and very quick. Drinks came quickly and so did the food that followed. The pot of coffee and the cappuccino rounded everything off. Perfect service, delicious food and cool drinks. Price performance is excellent here for the entire service and taste experience. This location is located directly at the port of Greetsiel and you have a beautiful view of the old Siel. THANK YOU to the entire team, you made sure that we were doing very well, despite the constant rain. We would like to come again.

Went here for dinner with four people and are extremely satisfied. Very good location. Even in Corona times, with a little luck, we were able to get hold of a table. The waiter was very friendly and made you feel welcome. We all enjoyed the food and it happened relatively quickly. The prices are in the upper range but still acceptable. All in all a very good place and we'll be back.

Delicious fresh food of decent quality. Good choice. Prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and attentive. It was positively noticeable that every table was freshly disinfected and the menus were also cleaned again and again.

Beautiful harbor town in Ost Friesland, very busy and parking is only possible with coins and only per 3 hours

My first time here, the restaurant made a good impression. Fast, very friendly service. Essen came quickly, had ordered a Wiener schnitzel. Schnitzel goes well with french fries, both seasoned well. Nothing burned, nothing raw or nothing. Very satisfied!

Ok, but more good old 80s style. There are better restaurants in Greetsiel that offer better food for the same prices.
